Mary Albertson was born in Gloucester county, New Jersey, daughter of Josiah Albertson (a soldier in the War of Independence) and Ann Chew. ![]() 1845 aged 76 yr / 3 mo 22 d.' She is buried near her granddaughter Amanda Redman to her left and back, as well as her daughter Keziah down a way on her right. It states: 'Mary wife of J / Ware died Jan / 4. Mary passed away in Pyrmont on at the age of 76 and was buried a few days later in the Pyrmont cemetery. No doubt her children who lived nearby helped see to her needs. ![]() Several of her children also settled in that location and farmed. Not long after arriving in Warren county, Mary moved to Pyrmont, Perry township, Montgomery county, Ohio where she settled down. She arrived in Warren county, Ohio about 1819 where several of her children began to be married within the first few years. She traveled west with several of her married children and all of her single children. After the death of her husband in 1810, Mary made preparations to move west.
